MeddieMakes - Unnamed T-Trak Module Layout

I’m building an N gauge layout that is currently in the early stages of construction. Designed as an exhibition layout, it will feature a series of sections inspired by some of the UK’s most recognisable landscapes and locations, with each module representing its own unique theme or setting. Built to T-Trak standards, the modules can be displayed individually as smaller layouts or connected together to create an ever-expanding larger layout. This flexible approach allows the railway to grow over time while offering a variety of display options. The layout will use Kato Unitrack throughout, in keeping with T-Trak standards, meaning it can also be linked with other compatible modules. The modules themselves are handcrafted by me and will also be available to purchase through my website. Although the project is still in its early stages, you can follow long by going over to the build log. 07/05/2026 Update: Created a new T-Trak single module with integrated DCC-EX Command Station.

Hillside Park

Hillside Park is an N Gauge (DCC) layout set in Britain during the early to mid 1960’s, at the end of steam and start of the green diesel era.. It consists two main running lines, with a diesel depot and steam shed. This is set below the town of Hillside Park. This layout can change locations by changing the rolling stock. It can be Midland, Eastern, Scottish, Western or South Wales. Ideal for exhibitions. Has up to four trains running at any time. Always happy to discuss how layout works and how built .

Sheila Road TMD

Last year after going to a show ran by the club my son goes to, I decided I wanted to make a TMD, I've been playing trains for years and years, but my old OO childhood train set in the shed my dad made, the N train set my son has my dad made for him. This was for us, one I made myself. Ended up naming it after my late mother. I don't really have an era for it, but 99% of our N gauge rolling stock is era 4/5 (early/late crest BR)

T-Trak - Urban Town Scenic Endcap Module

Welcome to the very first build blog post for my new N gauge T-Trak Exhibition layout project! The inspiration for this build comes directly from YouTube modeller Emperor's Path and his 2025 exhibition layout "Emperor's Pathway." While his layout was built in OO gauge, I was fascinated by the concept of creating an immediate, self-contained exhibition piece on a tight footprint using continuous-running loops. The goal of this module is to construct a heavily weathered, multi-level modern British urban scene (2015+ era) on a standard T-Trak Endcap module using one of my T-Trak kits. Initially this module will act as standalone run around exhibition layout but the plan it to expand this module with further modules to create an ever expanding layout that can be adapted to space or venues as the number of modules expands.
